What Is Trauma Therapy?
Therapy with me is a space to gently untangle what feels heavy. Your painful experiences - whether they occurred in childhood, adulthood, or somewhere in between - deserve support. In sessions, we will work (at your pace) to explore how the past might still be showing up in your thoughts, in your relationships, in your body, etc. Together, we will start to move away from that overwhelm and move towards feeling grounded, secure, and whole.

My therapy approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing looks different for everyone. I draw from a blend of modalities (including EMDR, parts work, DBT, and person-centered therapy) to meet you exactly where you are and support you in a way that feels both effective and empowering.
Our work might include examining core beliefs, tuning into what your body is holding, or understanding the different “parts” of you that were developed to help you survive. Whether we’re processing memories through EMDR, building emotional regulation tools, or simply creating space for your story to unfold, I hold a holistic lens by honoring the mind, body, and nervous system as key parts of the healing process. This is not one-size-fits-all therapy. It’s a relational process grounded in curiosity, compassion, and care.
